We designed and installed a new exterior staircase leading to the lake to replace the old wooden staircase on this house in Sainte-Anne-des-Lacs. The all-aluminum staircase is supported by aluminum piles and columns. The double stringers were mechanically assembled using stainless steel screws and bolts. The treads are made of perforated galvanized aluminum that allows water and snow to pass through, preventing the accumulation of precipitation and enhancing safety. For the aluminum railings, the client chose a contemporary brown commercial style that blends perfectly with the facade and surroundings.
