As part of a Montreal home renovation, we designed and installed two types of interior glass railings. The first serves as a guardrail around the basement stairs and is made of 12 mm clear tempered glass with a regulation height of 36 inches. It is secured to the floor with matte black brackets and glass clamps at the top. The glass allows light from the entrance hall to enter.
The second railing is made of 10mm clear tempered glass and features a wrought iron and matte black steel frame that secures the glass with matte black glass clamps. Custom-designed, this contemporary glass railing is very sturdy and can also be used as a handrail.
